20 Challenges of Specialty Diets and How to Overcome Them: Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-free
Back in the day, a diet was something you tried on January first because you felt guilty about the size on your clothes. A basic diet is all about avoiding everything you love and filling a meal plan with cardboard-like meals while pretending to enjoy plain water (or La Croix).
Over the years I’ve noticed that my body has slowed down a bit and I have to pay the price for those large cheese fries. This doesn’t mean I don’t eat the fries, it just means I have to compensate with a little clean eating on the other days and adding in a little workout.
Considering going back to school? Yeah, me too. Scared? Yeah, me too. It’s been a hot minute since I was in school, and even in that short time I feel like everything I thought I knew has changed. It’s inevitable. When you start something new, people always want to know why. Bunch of Nosey Nellies around here. Because I’m not a mom yet, I can’t say because I said so, and that be the end of it. So, without tearing my hair out trying to explain it to you, it was because I was sick of being dumb-shamed.
